C’mon now. There was nothing offensive in the OP. There was no discussion of any kind of same-sex coupling in the first place, so I hardly see the need for that kind response. If someone simply disagrees with a pairing you like, you should afford them some respect because it’s just an opinion.

ok staying out of drama because fandom drama sucks and I’m having too much fun at the con to deal with drama right now, but just some clarification because tumblr’s really awful for clear communication and it’s easy to get this mixed up - geth-metal wasn’t addressing the OP at all, she was responding to the person who first reblogged the OP’s post and made it blow up because that amount of backlash to the OP’s post was seriously unnecessary, and shit like this has happened before with this same person (the person who reblogged) so yeah. there’s history and shit.

further condolences to the OP, but FMA fandom has always (always) been a shitshow of drama and shipwars, and tumblr’s format makes it really easy for wank to spread rapidly and for miscommunications to arise. so uh just be careful what you put in the tags because tagging anything even remotely controversial (like, say, voicing dislike for a popular pairing, even if you’re not being rude about it) is like sticking your hand into a hornet’s nest :/
